I followed the steps in

https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/12972701353757-Notes-about-Auto-Migration-of-Kontakt-Versions-in-DAW-Projects

but when I open an old project, the kontakt instances are missing. When I open the VST details, I see only this little box.

I have the latest Cubase 13 Pro and the latest Komplete 14 Collectors. Can you help?

OK, I did some magic here and it works now! I'll try to write down the steps I made, I'm not sure about the exact order though. I hope this could help someone.

    • I updated Cubase from 13.0.40 to 13.0.41
    • I had both Cubase 13 and 12 installed. I uninstalled Cubase 12.
    • I uninstalled Kontakt 7, too. Then I installed it again (no reboot).
    • I removed all directories except for C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 from Cubase plugins (I think this did not change anything)
