Hi,
For months now, Kontakt 7 is a pain to use, as it takes ages (like 2 or 3 minutes) to initialize. This is not only for first launch ; Kontakt is goofy every time I'd like to access the plugin GUI in the same session or if I jump from on VSTi to another.
I've managed to improve loading time by disabling Multicore CPU support in the standalone application.
In plugin mode, it helps a little but it's still unacceptably long.
I'd like to have information about the consequences of this mono-core behaviour. Am I supposed to load less instruments in a rack and use multiple instances of Kontakt instead?
FYI I've also set graphics mode to "best performance" but it doesn't seems to help.
Thanks for your feedback,
Julien
