Problems recording only in mono on the Komplete Audio

Hello everyone, I'm sorry in advance if the problem has already been addressed before but I can't find a solution to my problem.
I have just purchased a Komplete audio 1, for microphone recording (I currently have a samsung Qu2 microphone)
that I used to plug in via usb, since I've got the sound card I've been making the same settings (configuring the sound card on 2 different software programs, just in case).
All recordings via the sound card are now done in Mono…

I haven't found a solution that works yet...
I tested another sound card and had exactly the same problem...
Could someone help me?
( I also have a “gain” problem on the microphone volume, even when I push the volume to the maximum gain I can't be heard very well...)

I'm a little confused here. A microphone is a mono source so you should just record a mono track.

Regarding the gain, does your microphone require phantom power? Have you switched it on?

first of all, it's possible that I'm making a big beginner's mistake (I'd like to make it clear)

when I started with the usb microphone, I always had a track created in stereo, I thought it was the norm...
as far as I'm concerned, I've misunderstood an elementary concept (sorry again...)
For the yes, the Phantom power supply is connected.

@Mys No need to apologise! It's understandable if you started with a USB stereo microphone to expect that. The "analog" microphones are mostly mono.

For the gain, I"m afraid there's not much to do, are you plugging it with a jack or XLR cable?

It's a Xlr cable ( a New cable)

This is the last idea I have to hope to solve the gain problem (maybe I have a defective new cable.... But the chances are small...)
