Trouble with Single-Click Sound Previews in Waveform Presets

Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding sound previews for waveform presets. In the official tutorial video, it shows that simply clicking once on a preset allows for immediate sound previews. However, in my version, I need to double-click a preset and then play it to hear the sound.

Is there a setting that I need to adjust to enable single-click sound previews?

Also, has the Massive X preset search interface been updated? It looks different in early tutorials compared to recent ones. Are there options to switch between interfaces?

Now, regarding the previews for the wavetables, I don't think there was ever a preview, the person doing the tutorial was probably playing the keyboard while going through these waveforms. It's a little confusing I must admit.

And yes, the browser did change a lot in the most recent Massive X update. the video I linked above is more recent and should reflect the most recent version of Massive X.

Thanks for the response. I watched the video, but I still have a question about quickly trying out presets. Is there a way to audition presets from the list with a single click, while playing the keyboard simultaneously?

Currently, I must double-click a preset, which switches from the preset list to the main window. Then, I play my keyboard to test the sound. If it's not suitable, I have to go back to the preset list and double-click another preset to start over.

At the moment, my workaround involves using the NI mk3 with Komplete Kontrol, which allows me to quickly browse through presets using a knob and listen to the preview clips. However, this method still requires me to navigate the list sequentially; I can't simply click on a preset in the window.

Is there a more efficient way to browse all presets on one page without having to switch between different screens?

@abovelight Sorry, I was out of office. You can only listen to the previews in the Komplete Kontrol plug-in or standalone application, not in Massive X by itself.
