I used session percussionist in a cubase project. When i play the project i have to manualy put the plugin in play modus to have it play along.

When i make a mixdown this won't work so i don't hear the percussion.

How can i fix this? How can i automate this?

Stefan

    Hello,

you simply play the patterns with midi notes, the play button is just a preview feature for the selected pattern. I highly recommend you read the manual:

    Hello,

as i said, you trigger the patterns with the notes like c0; c1; c2, (and others) please look into the manual under:

Hi Uwe, still have a question about Session Percussionist.

When i write midi in the track, fot example starting at measure 3 Session Percussionist starts at measure 3 but not with the beginning of the pattern. How can i change that?

I will look that up for you if i can get my hands on that instrument, but as far as io can see in the manual that`s not possible, you could shift your song so the percussions start at 1 or 5 and so on or you bounce it to audio and shift it that way. But i guess you can set the start and end point to the 3rd measure, like shown on page 22 in the manual (pattern editor).

After getting my hands on this, by the way amazing sounding, instrument, i can only repeat what i said above. If you want to use the build in grooves you have to do it that way, otherwise, every instrument has solo sounds in ever octave from the note f to b. Or you set start and end point like this:

I agree Uwe, very nice sounds.
MIDI works fine now. Thanx for putting me on the right track :)

I am going to try the startingpoint setting to synchronize it with the rest of my recordings.
