Looking for the previous Komplete Kontrol (before Browser Change).

The new Komplete Kontrol doesn't allow dragging and dropping Samples and Loops from the Browser to the Host/DAW. That's the only reason why I use it, and without this capabilities I'll never use any of the Expansion Content - for reasons that I think should be plainly obvious.

It's still possible to Drag and Drop from Battery's Browser, but the Browser is horrible as it doesn't organize by Expansion and by Sample/Loop.

I'd like the installer for the latest revision of the previous "iteration" of Komplete Kontrol, so that I can install it and never update it again.

I don't care about hardware compatibility. I'll never buy a NI keyboard if it means I have to run this iteration of the KK software.

The only alternative would be to get a Splice or Loopcloud subscription and just use content from there because there is no way in hell I'm going to manually re-index and self-manage 100K Samples/Loops myself. Not sure why this was ever changed… To force us to buy hardware?

PLEASE! Anyone who knows where I can find this, let me know!!!

    Here:

I have it book marked because I have to send this link out several times a day. Just a shame MK3 users cannot dial back, has upset a few.

    OMG. YES! It worked perfectly!

Gonna do it on my MBP next, and hope I get the same Downgrade Option support that the Windows installer offered.

For some reason, this no longer works.

The splash screen comes up, and then Komplete Kontrol (2.9.6) disappears off the screen.

EDIT: Crashed in Bitwig and then loaded, now it's doing a full content scan (the plug-in). Will see if that fixes it.

EDIT 2: Still crashes when launched standalone after in-DAW scan, then crashed again when loading in Bitwig. Really HATE - literally - that NI ruined this software and made it and all the sample content I use it to access practically unusable for me. I'm at wit's end.
