Kontrol S61 MK3 latency..

Hi, i just bought a Native Kontrol S61 MK3 and i'm experiencing latency when i play soft and softer (PP PPP) My Audio is RME Fireface UCX 2 with latency 48 ms.. but when i play i have latency of 1 sec.. i've tried everything.. the same happens with external gear/modules.. any ideas? Thank you

    48ms is way too high of a starting point, no matter how quiet or loud you're playing. It's like buying a high end sports car and only driving it during the worst part of rush hour in your city. This not the fault of your MK3 controller.

    You need to change your Fireface's buffer settings to lower that latency. If you can get it under 10ms, that would be pretty good, but even 13 or 14 might still be playable. Good luck!

    So being on Windows are you using the RME ASIO driver or the shared windows driver?

    Also, what is the application you are in.

    48ms is that your input latency or round trip latency (all up in/out)? It is a little high but wouldn't account for a 1 second delay.

    What do you mean here:

    when i play soft and softer (PP PPP) 

    What is the instrument you are playing and also, is this increase in latency ONLY when you play soft notes or all the time?
