Kontrol Mk3 hardware and third party FX

New Komplete Kontrol S49 mk3 owner - just starting to investigate functionality and immediately liking the 3rd party FX integration so I can use the KK hardware to control my Softube FX plugins, including browsing presets - in the KK instrument plugin.

Is it possible to use KK mk3 to control FX inserts in a non KK instrument channel in my case using Studio One 6?

So, I guess I'm looking for a the equivalent of a KK VST Effect plugin to insert in a DAW channel, rather than the KK instrument plugin.

    Nope, there's no effects-only version of KK unfortunately. It's been asked for a few times but I don't think it's on the roadmap yet.

    I think there are signs that might change though, there is a huge case for an fx version and I can see NI are beginning to see that finally

    Well, at least I know I'm not alone in thinking this would be useful functionality.
