Do I need to update to the new Kontakt 7 If I have it already ?
You don't absolutely need to if you already own Kontakt, but keeping up to date with the software usually a good idea as later versions have bug fixes and additional features. Some of the later libraries and library updates need the most up to date version of Kontakt too. Updates within the current major version are always free, so you have nothing to lose by updating.
