Kontakt Player 7 and new Native Access have borked everything...

I downloaded a VI which said it needed Player v7 and long story short I also needed to install new version of Native Access…now NOTHING works. Everything I load either sounds like a broken jew harp or gives no sound at all and the interface is basically just a blank white sheet and the red DEMO letters (this VI said all you needed was Kontakt Player, so it's not a "you need full Kontakt" issue). Anyone had this? Appreciate help

I'm assuming you meant "broken JAW harp", right?

If so, then you need to go into player's settings and ensure that its audio is configured to point to the actual audio interface that you have, and that it has been set with an appropriate sample rate.

Whenever I hear distorted jaw harps, it's always that. Fix the audio settings.

If that doesn't work, please post again and this time, tell us what operating system and version you're using, and then tell us the versions of everything else, including Player. We also need to know if this happens through your DAW or if it's only in standalone.

I don't have an audio interface and I accepted the default Player settings when it installed.

Anyway I think the point is moot…I rebooted (which I should have tried before posting, my bad) and outside of Player 7 taking forever to load, it's working fine in my DAW. Player standalone still doesn't work, and worse, it somehow then messes up the one in my DAW when I try it…but I don't need the standalone version, so I think I'm good. Thanks!
