On loading maschine 2 kontakt 7 won’t load
Hi, could someone help me I have tried so many steps to get my kontakt 7 to load but it wont. Each time I load my maschine 2 a pop up will come show saying kontakt 7 is unable to load. After acknowledging the pop up then maschine 2 will load without Kontakt 7. All the most of the sounds I used for the project is from kontakt 7 and they wont play anymore. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling kontakt 7 via native access but still it wont work. I’ve also tried to delete and reinstall it via the installation path still it wont work. Also I’ve tried to delete maschine 2 via its installation path still it wont work. I’ve tried to delete the database still no progress. Please could anyone help me with it. I will appreciate any help. Thank you

What is your operating system? Are you able to load your libraries in Kontakt in standalone? Are you able to load Kontakt this way?
Is the Kontakt vst3 file in the location it was installed? That's here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

I had major issues on two different PCs trying to load any Kontakt-based, samples instruments on Maschine 2 (using a Mikro MK3); the Mikro would get stuck on 'Busy… Loading' forever. When I use the method above (loading Kontakt as a plugin under Sounds), it works flawlessly.
There must be an issue with the Maschine 2 browser trying to load VST3s or Kontakt 7 in particular?
Everything fully up-to-date.

@haski It should work directly from the browser, the steps above were fore troubleshooting, unfortunately the user never got back so we couldn't go further.
What does the Maschine software say or show when the Mikro would get stuck on 'Busy… Loading'?
Is everything working as expected in Kontakt 7 in standalone?
Do you also have previous versions of Kontakt installed on your system?
Are you running Maschine and Kontakt 7 as admin? How to Run a Program as an Administrator
Have you tried to rest Maschine's database?
Reinitialize the Maschine Database
- Note: The "AppData" folder is hidden. See this article for instructions to access hidden Windows folders.
- Search through the Native Instruments folder at this location to find the Maschine 2 folder.
- Note: Deleting other NI product folders could result in unexpected behavior with other applications.
- Reopen the Maschine software to check that the issue has been resolved.

@Jeremy_NI sometimes the Maschine software continues to work with the mouse and keyboard, just not the Mikro, other times it just freezes and I have to kill the application. Exiting Maschine and restarting gets everything back to normal.
Kontakt 7 is totally fine in standalone mode. I don’t have any previous versions of Kontakt installed.
I’ve not tried running as admin, but I only have one account on both PCs and that’s an administrator account. I tried to reinitialize the database on my laptop and it didn’t help.
I wonder if it’s caused by slower disk access; on the second PC (desktop), I have an older HDD with all my samples and Kontakt content, so when I load up a larger instrument (like The Gentleman) it takes sometime to load in (DAWs, Maschine 2, and all programs/VSTs are on a SATA SSD). Maybe it’s timing out? My laptop has a reasonably quick M.2 SSD though, and all my content is on that one drive.
Hope this is enough info! Cheers Jeremy!

Each time I load my maschine 2 a pop up will come show saying kontakt 7 is unable to load.
Can you share a screenshot of the error message? Or anything more that can illustrate the issue.
Do you have any antivirus/firewall active?
Please try with the run as admin thing and let us know if there's an improvement.
