Kontakt now has ads and a shop button?

What is wrong with NI? I don’t want to load an instrument I paid for and have it littered with sales banners. This is stupid aggressive marketing. Who thought this was a good idea? As more and more libraries come with their own sample players, NI is just driving customers away. I’ll be happy to leave this company behind when I won’t have to depend on it.

    Are you using the full version of Kontakt 7 or the player version? If you've paid for the full version you can disable the "New Instruments for you" panel in options. You'll find the option at the bottom of the Interface page. The free version doesn't allow you to turn it off though as far as I'm aware.

    Full version. I get that disabling it at the bottom of the options list works but it shouldn’t be there in the first place.. And still the “shop” button remains. This kind of marketing is terrible.
