Hey everyone!
NI finally got back to me. They told me to redownload NI and Kontakt.
I'm going to scream.

Support works in procedural ways. Just do what they ask and when it does not help then write back and tell them that. Then see what's next.
Then after some back and forth then you hopefully reach a place where Support have some better suggestions....

I promise I understand this. It's just bad support.

@SAD I understand he frustration but we explained how to submit a request on our dedicated support section. You submitted a request, my colleagues got back to you. Please continue the conversation there and give as much information to my colleagues as possible, this way they can try to help you better and faster.

Hey guys,
Still mostly waiting unproductively, but I thought if the issue is somehow related to getting this new mac set up with time machine, how would I fix this mistake? Uninstall everything NI related (I'll keep the libraries on the external hard drive- which is formatted correctly) https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210291865-How-to-Uninstall-Native-Instruments-Software-from-a-Mac-Computer
I'm going to go and scream into a pillow while I wait.
Thanks

@SAD That's useful information. we don't recommend Time Machine and cloning softwares. Not sure, as I'm not an installation specialist but deleting a product plist file should make it seen by Native Access as not installed. For example for Kontakt 7 it would be here: Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.Kontakt 7.plist
Simply close Native Access, delete the file, open Native Access again, does Kontakt show up now?

Tried it. NA now thinks the kontakts arent installed and I can't reinstall them.

I think i’m done with NI!
I’m in the midddle of a project, forced to upgrade and now can’t use my ££ worth of products I’ve paid for, let alone m32 or A46 never working KK.

@Johnny_Fly What or who forced you to upgrade and for what reason? What's an A46? Do you mean A49? What are your issues, so we can help?

Ok.
I went through and manually deleted all the files in this guide: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210291865-How-to-Uninstall-Native-Instruments-Software-from-a-Mac-Computer?source=search&auth_token=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJhY2NvdW50X2lkIjo3NjI4NDAsInVzZXJfaWQiOjM2MDcyMDU3ODUwOSwidGlja2V0X2lkIjo0MjQ1NjIyLCJjaGFubmVsX2lkIjo2MywidHlwZSI6IlNFQVJDSCIsImV4cCI6MTcxMzUzMDMwMX0.4PFyXtX_lGvLI_7K5TQ2Qgv0hMGTIdaRy1jv-exSkJc
I can download apps again. wonderful. I have also learned when you do this there is no way to relocate all files at once. You have to click and search for every individual file. (The relocate all button is not there)
This has been a problem for years according to these forums.

Logic still can't scan audio units either. Which means I can't use anything

@SAD Good to know that you're making progress.
The AU validation issue might also been caused by using Time Machine. I'd suggest to delete the plugin files (for the plug-ins that cause the problem) found here: Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-ins > Components > *Product Name*.component
Then open Logic, close Logic.
Reinstall the applications, open Logic again.

Ok. Will do this.
Called apple. Kontakt 5 and 7 are good but 6 is not, which is a problem for all my existing projects. Validated it's system wide by making a test user. Audio scan is fine with 5 and 7 only. Logic crashes if i try to specifically activate 6.
