Hello folks,

I installed Guitar Rig 7 player. I believe I have set things up to the best of my knowledge.

I have a bass guitar and a good enough Sound Blaster (internal) card.

Now, what next? What would I need to connect the guitar to my compute, and exactly how? Basics please. 😁 The tutorials I saw on YouTube seem to be too advances to what am looking for. Am just a complete beginner with Guitar Rig 7 Player.

I hope I am clear enough. Thanks!

To connect your bass guitar to your computer, you would need an audio interface - e.g.:

(The above ones have quickstart guides available)

After setting one up (i.e. connecting it via USB to your computer and configuring it in Guitar Rig), it's then a matter of: connecting your bass guitar with a 1/4 inch jack cable to the IN 1/2 slot of the interface and setting the LINE/INST switch to INST. You may need to play around with the GAIN knob.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

A little while back, while researching on guitar and the computer, I realize I would need an Audio Interface. I finally ordered one, which should arrive in a few days. I just heard of Native Instruments this morning when I was researching more about my guitar with my computer, saw some YouTube videos about your product.

I hope to really enjoy Guitar Rig 7 Player in just installed on my computer.

    Again, thanks!

By the way, I have a similar mixer, would this also work with Guitar Rig 7?

    Thanks
