Why is the encoder on the KK MK3 not always the playhead in Logic

For me it’s confusing sometimes the encoder is volume and sometimes it’s the playhead.

ik like to see that de encoder always control the playhead. Because volume can be done in mixer mode on the kk mk3

    The 4D encoder has different functions depending on what section you are using, browsing, instrument editing or using the Mixer. You'll find the shortcuts for the MK3 here:

    However, I was hoping that rotating the encoder would retain the same function. Now I often find myself trying to move the playhead and end up adjusting the volume instead. It’s a bit confusing. But well… maybe it’s just me.
