Hi,

Just curious to know if it's possible to change from Audio to Sampler via the new MK3 keyboard. It's a simple click from KK software but my computer is a distance away.

Cheers.

    @Scottkid Well, the sampler/audio module is more essential within Maschine. The audio module is to be able to have longer audio parts than with the sampler. These are more related to the DAW/sequencing functions, Komplete Kontrol doesn't have any sequencer. You can open samples in it but the options are pretty basic.

    The MK3 keyboards are just MIDI controllers. They depend entirely upon what they're connected to for making any kind of sound. They don't have any built in speakers and the only connection is through a USB to some device for making sound.

    @DunedinDragon thanks for your response.

    I may not have worded my question correctly so i'll add another screen shot for clarification.

    Audio to Sampler in KK via the MK3 keyboard.

    I naturally assumed this was possible on an S61 MK3 as it's common place in Maschine software to swap from an NI audio sound to a sampler version of the said sound.. Given the lack of response to the question raised, I now see it isn't, and after digging out my S49 MK2 I realised it's not just limited to the new S series keyboards.

    With that said, my question is, why isn't it ?

    It's part of the KK software to change it and it's a simple click to do it.

    Cheers
