S88 MK3 Move Play Head Position Problem in Ableton

I just got my S88 MK3 and have been working my way through all the features. I'm on Windows 10 with Ableton Live ver 11.3.20 and was working my way through the transport controls as shown below:

I can't seem to get the Move play head position to respond in any way. I'm in arrangement view and have the track selected that has the recorded MIDI from my Alicia's Keys piano, manually position the play head with the mouse, but turning the control does nothing. Am I missing a step here? All of the other features work fine. I can position the play head just fine with the keyboard arrow controls and the knob works fine in all other situations. I even tried pushing down on the outside of the knob...nothing works. I'm on the most recent version of the S88 firmware.

I have the same happening here. The knob always controls the volume/pan of the current track in the mixer view when I'm in DAW mode. I can't see any way of changing it to control the play head and I've tried pretty much every combination of buttons and shift. Unless there's a very obscure way of doing it I think this may be an error in the documentation.
