Whats this keybed sensor strip for and can I glue a new felt on?

Hi all. I took apart my S88 mk2 as the previous owner had smoke saturated the keyboard, Im a non smoker. I took it apart and found the main issues where the felt and rubber buttons. The two felt strips that are stuck onto sensors I had to remove to wash them, but they are now stretched.

Question is, what are these two sensors for, will stick on the old or new felt effect the workings of these sensors, and where can I get replacement felt from?

There’s a Facebook group called Synthesizer Spares or Repair who could possibly help.

From what I’ve read, Fatar don’t seem to supply spares to the public.

Thankyou, I will check the group out. The problem Im having is using the right terminology for the part I need, there are a fair few felt and other pads in many places.

I had a very Quick Look on YouTube for mk2 s88 disassembly guides, could only see one, it has English subtitles that someone made using translate, so may not be that accurate, don’t think it shows the bits you mean though.

I have literaly taken this thing totaly apart to clean it. Maybe I can make a video from when I put it back together to help others, tips and things to look out for.

This felt dont work, it triggers aftertouch just pressing the key. I ended up dammaging the black aftertouch strip and some keys just not working at all.
