So, Im trying to create a multi patch in which on left half of keyboard bass plays and other half has a instrument called banjo. both instruments have stock portamento script for glide but it restricts both instruments playing simultaneously because it accepts one key at a time. How can i make split keyboard patches like in roland and yamaha keyboards where we play bass with left hand and lead with right hand.

    Hello,

you click on both instruments on the wrench synmbol, go to script editor tab, load the utillities "limit key range" script set key range as you need it. Be sure both receive on same midi port and channel - there you go.

To achieve a multi patch where you can play bass on the left side of the keyboard and banjo on the right, both with portamento, you will need to ensure each instrument can handle independent key inputs.
