I have Kontakt 5 player and just purchased Kontakt 6 which fails to load standalone

I have a Dell Inspiron 5566 with 16gb ram, core i3-7200 2.4Ghz

I have had no problems loading Kontakt 5 player in standalone mode or as a plugin, but I just purchased Kontakt 6 and although I can load it as a plugin, I can not load it in Standalone mode. I uninstalled any prior versions of Kontakt I thought may be in conflict and then uninstalled 6, then reinstalled, with no success. Kontakt 5 player loads as expected. Kontakt 6 looks like it's loading but nothing happens.

Please send the Maytag Laundry Repair Man. :)

Not 100% sure but from what I can tell from the specs that laptop seems dated; originally it ships with 6Gb memory it seems? So I can't help wonder if this simply doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

Try option 2. Worked for me when Kontakt 6 showed similar behaviour.

No 1 (deleteting the Kontakt Application folder in regedit, worked for me.)
