Stradivari Violin "short articulation" setting not reflected in Reaper

In prior projects I was able to control the dynamics of each MIDI note (regardless of its velocity) by using CC1, but now this functionality seems to be gone. I have Stradivari Violin set to respond to controller, not velocity changes. All other settings are factory defaults. If it helps, I recently updated Kontakt to 7.7.3 and Stradivari Violin is on 1.2.0.

    Hmm...does your DAW have automation features?

    @Bentux What about when in Kontakt in standalone? Is it still working there?

    If it's only in Reaper, there is probably a setting regarding MIDI CC1.
