Discussion...... Pigments 5 still not equal to Absynth in features.

I just wonder what people think of the new Pigments 5 features and how it compares to Absynth?

I own both, and I like Pigments, to me it seems that none of the big vst synths available today are doing anything that Absynth 5 can't do.

Just wonder what are peoples thoughts?

I honestly believe that vsts are going round in circles now, thoughts????

Pigments never was meant to be feature par with Absynth. Actually, they're very different synths.

I feel like VSTs are going round in circles. Maybe I've been around too long, nothing feels new and exciting. It seems that no matter what new synthesis is created, it's always the same sounds being made.

Obviously no one has delved into the Harmonic Oscillators in Pigments, they are very powerful and a very different take on additive/spectral synthesis.
