Just in case this may help other newbies on their initial set-up (i.e. connecting your keyboard for the first time via USB).
I spent a long time trying to understand why when I powered up my new S88 Mk 2, and connected the USB cable, I was staring at the following on the S88 Mk2 display;
And in the Komplete Kontrol software, the keyboard wasn't detected;
The problem?
The brand new USB cable supplied with my S88 Mk2 was faulty.
Device manager didn't react when the USB cable was connected / disconnected.
After swapping the USB cable for a known working USB cable . . . . Ta Da!! 😊
I'm ashamed to admit it took me a while to find the cause.
I couldn't find any of the screenshots above in the user manual, etc.
The supplied USB cable looked to be of very high quality. It was connected directly to a USB3 socket on my PC (not via an unpowered USB hub, etc.). But, it was clearly faulty.
I just thought I'd mention it, in case it helps someone else in the same situation.
