Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato not saving settings in Kontakt (7.7.3)

Hi! I'm using Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato (v1) in Kontakt 7.7.3. When I close Ableton (Ableton 11 Suite, 11.3.20), and then re-open, my Tina Guo Cello track has reset one specific setting: instead of staying on the "Sustain" articulation setting, it's reverted back to the default "Legato" setting.

I'm on macOS Ventura 13.4.1, Apple M2. I've also tried using Komplete Kontrol, (unsurprisingly) same issue there.

Not sure whether it's a Tina Guo issue, Kontakt issue, or some weird combo. Any suggestions would be wonderful, thanks!

Got a response from Cinesamples support:

This is a bug with the library, unfortunately, and while the team is aware of this there will likely not be an update soon as these kinds of bugs can be deceptively tricky to repair. In the meantime, a workaround you can employ is to use the keyswitch for Sustain in your MIDI and that way the library will always play the Sustain articulation when you reopen the session. The keyswitches are already assigned to C0 for Legato and D0 for Sustain in the Acoustic Cello Legato patch. Let me know if this helps, and thanks for your patience and understanding with this!

So what you said is the intended workaround for now.

I also encountered this issue. I use Windows 10 and Cubase, and I can only control legato and sustain by using keyboard mapping. I suspect it may be an issue with Cinesamples, because my other sample libraries with similar design seem to be fine.

Ah, interesting. I submitted a help request directly to Cinesamples, we'll see what comes out of it.
