I just got Komplete 14 Standard and installed Komplete Kontrol and it looks like Kontakt, lol. The first pic is mine and the second is what everyone else is showing:

Any help is appreciated! :)

The first pic is Komplete Kontrol 3.0, the second pic is Komplete Kontrol 2.9 (or any version before 3) If you want the second pic you need to uninstall 3 and install an earlier version there is a how to on NI site.

Because the 1st pick is the new "updated" version 3 of Komplete Kontrol and the 2nd is the previous V2 and the reason most people still look like the 2nd is because it is WAY better in usability and performance for most people's taste and unless you have an MK3 keyboard, V2 of the software seems to just be the prefered option for most people at the moment until V3 matures and becomes a bit more stable.

If you want the V2 you need to search on the forum here for the link, NI force you to install the latest without any option from Native Access.

Thanks for the answers guys! I guess I'll stick with the latest and see if NI offers an update in the future to improve it.

KK3 has separated the browser view from the plugin view... you can't see both simultaneously.

Some prefer the new browser view layout in KK3, but not having the plugin view be part of this window is a separate issue.

Hopefully, there will a way to enjoy the new browser layout AND see the some version of the plugin view at the same time in a future update.. but it has not been announced yet as a planned thing.
