S88 MK2 DAW control not working with Logic Pro X in rossetta & with full disk access

Has anyone else had problems using the DAW controls on an M1 Mac, running Logic Pro X in Rossetta mode and after granting full disk access to all the appropriate aplications? I'm usinfg my MK2 S88 keyboard and it will not control my DAW I am also running the latest version of Logic and Komplete Kontrol. any help woud be appreciated.

@JMNORTONGUITAR Is it happening only in Rosetta mode? In some cases, closing Logic and deleting this file will help: Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs

Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:
