S61 mk iii Keybed Action

Hi everyone,

New user here! Just got the NI s61 mkiii - a little surprised to see the keys only trigger a note if they're pressed all the way down. Granted, it's not a super-deep action but it feels a little weird. Anyone else noticed this?? Is that normal behaviour for the s61 mkiii??

Also, the upgrade cost for moving from Komplete Select 14 to Komplete Standard seems screwed-up. Cost to upgrade is £360 but you can buy the full version in the current sale for £260??!!?/

Can I just buy the full version and download the extra stuff, or do I need to take the upgrade pack??

Same on my S61 MK3. It is different than I'm used to but I have noticed I have a wider range of dynamics control. I did need to switch the velocity curve to Soft 3.

Thanks @Garion2K , I did the same...had to switch to Soft 2 to get the feel I was happy with.

What do you make of the offers just now?? Makes sense to take the Komplete 7 Standard package for only £260, not sure why I'm being offered an upgrade from Selekt for more than that.
