GR7 with FCB1010 questions and problems with setup

I recently got my hands on an FCB1010 pedal board to use with my GR7, and I'm having some issues with programming. Here's what I mean:

First, I'm trying to set two of the pedals (1 and 6 ) to the up and down arrows, to cycle thru the master preset list. However, whenever I try to program them, they only bring me to the 1st and 6th (respectively) preset in the master list.

Second, is there a way to program the pedals to correspond to the "favorites" colored presets?

The problem seems to be that you are sending Program Change messages and Control Change (CC) messages at the same time from your FCB1010. For the arrows you can use the right-click "Learn MIDI control" functionality to make them react to a specific CC message. But you need to make sure that the switches on your FCB done send Program Change messages at the same time.

To answer your second question: No, unfortunately there is no way to switch the colour tags via MIDI. But that is a very good idea. 💡
