Maschine Studio Midi Mode Issue

When using my Maschine Studio in midi mode I'm only getting up to 8 pads of sounds on the pads starting from the first pad C0 the bass drum up to pad 8 and the rest of the pad I'm not hearing any sounds from pads 9to 16 any thoughts?
