KONTROL S88 MK3 failed to boot into firmware update mode.

I've tried re-downloading the update software, tried installing in safe mode (doesn't see USB devices in safe mode apparently).

I've followed the on screen prompts many times to no avail.

Is anyone getting the firmware update to work?

The screen on the keyboard says it is updating, but the app on my PC (windows) says the keyboard failed to boot into firmware update mode. The lights on the keyboard are scrolling back and forth as though something is happening, but I've left it for hours and nothing seems to be happening.

Since Richard didn't say what fixed it I went through the whole page provided by Uwe303 (as I was experiencing these issues as well). I'm on Windows 11 and couldn't get the keyboard to update. What was key was following the link that said: "How Can I Update the Driver and Firmware of My Kontrol S-Series S88 MK3 on Windows?"

This was what was the magic ticket! I tried to update on 2 computers before finally realizing this is what helped. Once you go into the Device Manager and manually update the drivers for the Kontrol device the update worked like a charm. Thanks everyone who replied and helped!
