Hello, I would like to know how to recall a specific preset by a midi pedal (not by the preset up and down arrows)

Assign the presets you want to MIDI select to a particular colour.

    Select that colour

Change the sort order to "Custom"

The number to the left of the patch name is the MIDI program number

In the example below I assigned a few random patches to the Fuscia colour and they appear as below. You can reorder the list using drag/drop, and patches can have multiple colours.

Thanks so much for your suggestion.

This makes it easier to switch between preset lists via midi pedal

    Thanks for the workaround.

This is just one of several ways in which GR6 was a massive DOWNGRADE from GR5. For YEARS I was happily building new presets for each new song I had to play live, and would create a set list just by drag-and-drop. Then using the Rig Kontrol 3 could easily go to the next song and the next, while easily assigning pedals 1-4 to select individual fx or set scenes within the song(preset).

GR6 completely BROKE this live performance capability.

I went away from GR for this reason, to using an AxeFX3 and though it has a steep learning curve it has been a vastly superior experience overall. For other reasons I have to go back to using GR for the next couple weeks... so looking for a way to still have set lists.

You do get eight "setlists" using the new way of doing it in GR7, but it does sound like you miss out on the scenes. I've never actually used GR live, currently using a Helix floor. I feel safer with a "proper" FX system rather than a computer/interface etc.
