Kontakt 7.7.3 and before then, on a Mac OS Sonoma with 38GB - Instruments don't display correctly

Are others having the same problem and is there any solution? I have many instruments that open up like this and they are basically unusable.

Am I right in saying that all these instruments are manufactured by different companies, and this could be why some work, some don't, some have different controls at the top, others don't switch correctly to the different patches. Just to seems to me that it's totally confusing as many behave differently from each other.

Is it just me? Is there a solution?

Bumping this up, in the hope that someone might have a solution. It's an on and off problem. Also need to point out that my Mac doesn't have 38GB of memory as in the title, it has 24GB.

    and another.

Am I the only one out of tens of thousands experiencing these problems, where some of the instruments just don't load properly.

Glitchy GUI can happen when the audio engine isn't running. It can also happen when the sample rates don't match (e.g. your DAW is set to 44.1 kHz while your OS is set to 48 kHz).

Is this happening in Logic Pro or standalone mode or both?

Which Mac do you have and what type of monitor are you using? What version of MacOs, Kontakt are you using?

I tested those two specific instruments on my M2 Studio and did not have any issues.

This happens on a MacBook Air with 24 GB of memory, and when using Ableton Live. Very latest versions of Ableton, NI software, Instruments, and Mac OS. I notice sometimes they load fine. Other times they don't load properly at all. I will watch out and see how it works with the other posters suggestions for if the DAW Audio is not running when the problem happens.

You are correct. The problem came back when there was no audio device connected. I believe NI, should probably look into this, as having a completely messed up GUI appear, is not a good way to let people know there's no audio device connected. Hopefully someone from NI is reading this.
