@Peter Knockaert Have you tried these steps? Kontakt Crashes
When you say you moved the Kontakt libraries, did you relocate them after moving them? How to Move a Kontakt Library

Still nothing works (followed every step of the crashes page).
My brand new Mac Studio M2 Ultra still crashes when opening either Kontakt standalone or when opening an instance via Logic.
I properly installed Kontakt via Native Access. Full disk access checked for all applications. Streaming samples from an external disk (formatted same as macOS HD, APFS).
I'm in big trouble now. I REALLY need Kontakt to work, streaming my samples from an external disk. (Quiet a lot compositions to produce within weeks. Every day lost is really bad news. :-( )
Should I contact support? (and how do I do that?)
(I use an Apollo Twin X Thunderbolt Quad - but also tried it with the native Mac Studio speakers)

To get this out of the way....
Select the app icon in the Finder then go to Get Info (⌘ I). For Kind a native M1 app will show as “Application (Apple Silicon).” An Intel only app that runs under Rosetta 2 will be listed as “Application (Intel).” Applications that have both native and Intel code will appear as “Application (Universal)”.
So if you see "Application (Universal)" for Kontakt 7, just make sure that Rosetta is unchecked.
Also in Native Access, there is two version of Kontakt you can install. One is Kontakt and the other one is Kontakt 7. Did you installed and tried both?

I presume that you are using latest Logic version 10.8.1
Logic uses Component plugins, have you tried a DAW that uses VST3 plugins?
I know that your Libraries are on an external SSD like I am also.
I did not MOVED my Libraries to an external SSD. Here is what I did:
First I created as per suggested by Native Instruments, a folder named NI Librairies on my external SSD
Then installed Native Access and before installing all my registered plugins, I changed the Content Location under Preferences/File Management/Content Location and browsed to my newly created NI Libraries folder /Volume/your SSD/NI Libraries.
Take note that according to Native Instruments, you have to install Applications you intend to use from Native Access before anything, like Absynth 5, Battery 4, FM8, Kontakt, Kontakt 7, Komplete Kontrol, Guitar Rig, Maschine 2, Massive etc...
Then install the plugins which went directly to the newly NI Librairies folder on my external SSD

VST not working either. Same crash; opening up a kontakt in Dorico makes the system crash completely.
I do not own any other Native Instruments software/plugins, so I can't test other things. Although there was one person who suggested to install Komplete Kontrol and that I was able to do.
In Native Access I only have those two Kontakt things...?

Hi,
I have a Mac Studio M2 Max 96GB running Sonoma 14.2.1
I started from scratch with my new computer. Nothing was imported from my old iMac late 2013.
But after installing Native Access latest version and installed all my 240 plugins, Kontakt was showing some missing icons.
I understand that your problem is different but I would try this:

I think you mentioned earlier that Kontakt player was working fine.
Did you checked in your Native Instruments account if you have Kontakt 7 properly registered with a serial number?
Also, if you successfully installed Komplete Kontrol did you tried loading Kontakt from Komplete Kontrol stand alone?
Once Komplete Kontrol launched, go to View in toolbar and uncheck Browser. It will bring you to the familiar Kontakt 7 display with librairies to the left.
Komplete Kontrol Stand alone is using VST3 Kontakt. See if this work.

Tried that too... :-(
(Damn I kinda start feeling guilty for all the really nice responses you give! But alas... nothing does the trick)

No problem! Glad trying to help. I have been there.
I came across this:
Logic crashes with Kontakt 7 and the MK3 keyboard connected. There is a workaround but, unfortunately the workaround will not work on Sonoma.
Are you using a MK3?

It seems quite obvious for having a stable environment, we will have to wait for a decent upgrade of Kontakt. Too much not going well…

One last thing....
When a Mac crashes there is always a Log of the crash.
Maybe you could find a hint in the crash Log.
Good luck

@Peter Knockaert There were no similar reports. We'll need to have a deeper look in your system. Please get in touch with our Kontakt specialists here: https://bit.ly/NI_support_kontakt Please include the result of our support tool.

Great thanks!
Just did that. And here is the export of the support tool.
(I tried to mail it back but 'mail delivery' problem...) Could you deliver it to the right person?

@Peter Knockaert I've added the files to your request. My colleagues will get back to you as soon as possible.

That's not 100% correct. I have the same Mac Studio M2 Ultra 128GB RAM and few months ago Kontakt 7 was doing the same thing to me. It would kernel panic my system as soon as the main Kontakt window would load. I can give you the support ticket number if you need it for reference. Long story short I never figured out the issue. Just eventually started working after MacOS and NI updates. From the crash logs it seemed like it was graphics/desktop window related.
