Transferring Komplete Kontrol Data from 1TB to 2TB ssd drive?

I bought the full version of Komplete Special Edition. I don't have enough space on my 1TB SSD. Can I copy my existing data to the new ssd (keeping the same file paths) and then resume installing the content?

All my VSTI's are on my Mac Mini HD -- this is only data.

You do not need to re-install the entire library if you follow the simple instruction on my first comment. It is a long tested method, numerous times, and nothing can go wrong.

A better idea is to make an exact copy of the older 1TD drive, to the newer 2TB, then swap the discs, remove the older disc and use the new disc in replacement for the old !

In this way, your system will not see any difference (besides the size) and it will continue to act like nothing changed. ;-)

After finish installations, you can plug again your older disc, delete everything, and use it for even more libraries or whatever else you like. Or you might want to keep it as is, for backup purposes.

Do you have another computer with that 2tb drive?

If you do, log in to the Native Access on that other computer and install all the data there (libraries, instruments...)

But if you mean that you have only the 2tb drive but only Mac, just replace the 1tb with 2tb and reinstall kk data.

Thanks - I don't have a second mac with a 2tb drive. I guess I could make an exact duplicate and copy it to the new SSD (I bought a SanDisk Professional 2TB PRO-G40 SSD).

I want to avoid re-installing the entire library - which will take a loooong time ;-)
