How to get Arturias CS-80 V?

Relatively new to the NI universe and loving it so far (besides Native Access, which has given me headaches when trying to run across multiple computers with external hard drives...).

To my question: I assume that Arturias CS-80 V is not part of any of NI KOMPLETE libraries? If that's correct: Can I buy it via NI? Some of their help pages suggest I can, but I couldn't find it anywhere on there page.

If that option has gone, do I just buy it via Arturias website and it'll work seamlessly with KOMPLETE KONTROL?

Hello,

the cs80v is an arturia vsti, as you already know, there once (2023) was an nks offer as i found out but you can´t buy it now from native. So if there was an nks offer it should be compatible with maschine and komplete kontrol cause nks is the standard for that deep integration. You could of course use the demo to find out.

There was an Arturia sale here last year month, but these are usually sporadic and short-living ones. It is not included as part of Komplete.

There is a discussion about the CS80 and NKS over here : https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/10819/confused-about-how-komplete-kontrol-and-maschine-2-handle-plugins , That particular discussion also mentions the Arturia Analog Lab 5 NKS Library for Komplete Kontrol \ Maschine made by another N.I. forum user. It's not free but not that expensive either !

If you want the original Arturia software then the Black Friday is still going on over at Arturia and buying a bundle (V Collection 9)(BF € 299) is the more economic way of getting that CS80 : https://www.arturia.com/black-friday-23

Else : If we are going to list alternatives then there is also the GX-80 from Cherry Audio , that is both Stand-alone and VST (The GX80 also has a free 30 days demo and is also present in the CA Synth Stack 4)

The Cherry stuff is pretty good, unfortunately it doesn't come with NKS integration. You can get libraries from Freelance SoundLabs although they're not free.

Thank you for feedback ! I also bought my V Collection 9 at a similar sale and then I also bought the Pigments synth !

A real shame that there are no upgrade paths from parts to full Sound Explorers Collection 2 Belledonne ! But that's Arturia I guess !

Honestly you are better off picking your own banks, they go on 50% off sale pretty regularly so you can just build up your own curated collection gradually and on your own terms (as I have).
