Ghost notes

when I record arm a track in Logic Pro and hit record, I see notes from other Komplete tracks playing in the piano roll track which is being recorded

The screenshots show a bass instrument track, then the Komplete instrument notes appear as the track is recording. The notes only appear but are not recorded.

how do I solve this?

I’m guessing you are on Logic 10.8? It fundamentally changed how AUs process MIDI in that now they can output it, previously they couldn’t. However this seems to be a work in progress, and also they didn’t let other developers know, so it is causing all sorts of unforeseen problems with MIDI capable plugins at the moment- this may be another one- see discussion of this here
