Kontakt keeps crashing when changing sound presets

I bought Kontakt Ultimate yesterday and when I switch between sound presets on Electric Sunburst Deluxe or Mint, it crashes. Im on MacOS 14.1.1 and Kontakt 7.7.1. It only crashes on Fl Studio 21, which is the only DAW I use for production. It seems to work fine on Logic and Ableton and Stand Alone. It crashes on VST3 and AU.

Well, use the DAW's that don't crash with Kontakt.

I used Studio One daw for Kontakt and it crashed evwry time, and Cakewalk (I use it today) which worked just fine.

could not reproduce here on my Sonoma 14.1.1. with the same FL Studio Version. Did not use the Libraries you mentioned though, as I do not have these on that system, yet.

Sonoma is in not yet supported officially for Kontakt though. I would recommend to send the full crashlog file to the support, as the Kontakt team is likely to make Kontakt compatible to Sonoma at the moment and such information will be useful.

I suppose you do not have the KKS MK3 Keyboard connected? Otherwise you would have run into a similar issue on Logic, when switching presets.

Hi @Sufox , thanks for the comment. No I don’t have that keyboard, and I’ve only had kontakt for 1 day and most of the libraries I’ve tried so far have worked fine, only the kontakt guitars seem to crash. I didn’t know Sonoma isn’t supported yet, hopefully it’s just a bug that will be fixed soon.

@westlake Can you check what version of Kontakt is showing in FL Studio if you click on the NI logo in the Kontakt window?
