Polyphonic aftertouch not "sounding" but midi being sent

Hi

New to NI so maybe I missed the obvious but have read the manual, seen the vids and searched the messages. My new S61 definitely sends polyphonic aftertouch messages. I can see it in my DAW. But I cannot HEAR any changes. If I open Roli software I can hear the aftertouch, and record it on Studio 1. If I use Komplete Kontrol I can still see the poly midi messages in my DAW but I cannot hear any aftertouch. Ever. I am using sounds that have the keyboard symbol that denotes polyphonic aftertouch.

Cheers

There is a global setting, if you press the "SETTINGS MIDI" on your keyboard then the second button from the left up top to select the Keybed menu, you will see an option to adjust the aftertouch from polyphonic, monophonic or off.

However, there sadly does not seem to be many existing NI instruments that support this currently. Hypha is one I know that has several sounds that support it. I'm sure there's others as well, that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. The U-He Zebra instrument has a lot of presets that support aftertouch as well.

Hopefully NI will be updating their instruments to support this. I see updates in NA every few days for libraries I own, hopefully these are adding aftertouch as well as full MK3 support.

Thank you. Yes, I found a sound that allowed me to assign aftertouch! But, just one so far... that took a loooong time... is there a global "on" and assign a modulation across all Kontact sounds perhaps? Or do I need to go into every single sound, see if I can assign aftertouch then do it? Any simple ideas on finding the sounds with polyphonic aftertouch?

It is pretty crazy that it's almost February and we still aren't seeing polyphonic aftertouch introduced to Native Instruments plugins. I asked Markus of Tone2 if he'd consider it in Icarus, and a few weeks later it was there, and he's mentioned adding it to the rest of his software. All the Arturia plugins respond to it, U-He, Synapse Audio, GForce, I could go on, but it's really odd that knowing how long the MK3 had to be in development before it hit the streets that they didn't even have Massive X ready to take advantage of it. Macht schnell, meine freunde.
