Komplete Kontrol A61 is missing DAW instance

I seem to have lost the A61 DAW input in my MIDI devices in FL Studio. I unplugged the keyboard and plugged it into a different USB, but it didn't solve the problem. In Device Manager in Windows (10) I can only see the A61 MIDI controller, but the DAW is missing. How can I get it back?

It all worked fine with the DAW instance before I updated the KK software along with Kontakt 7 Player. (I think)

Have you tried rolling KK back to 2.9 to rule out a hardware problem? Might be an issue with KK3 as it has a few "quirks"

Yes, I did roll KK back to 2.9.4, but the problem is not fixed. There's still no A61 DAW visible either in Device Manager or FL Studio's MIDI settings.

Uwe, thank you so much! The problem is fixed. I was going crazy with looking everywhere for a solution. BTW, the same version of Bome MIDI was already installed on my PC, but I reinstalled it from the link you gave and that did it. Again, thank you.

Same issue, but I've uninstalled Bome MIDI and reinstalled it, still no luck.

In Windows Event Viewer under -Wndows Logs - > Application, I can see an 'error'-
    ——————————————————————————————————————————-
The description for Event ID 258 from source NIHostIntegrationAgent cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

MIDIDevice: Unable to connect to BMIDI port 'Komplete Kontrol A DAW': port does not exist

The specified resource type cannot be found in the image file
    ———————————————————————————————————————————

In Device Manager - under "Sound, video and game controllers" I can see -
    KOMPLETE KONTROL A61 MIDI
    but not-
KOMPLETE KONTROL A DAW (the one I require)

NIHardwareService and NIHostIntegrationService services are both running
Have reinstalled Komplete Kontrol, Bitwig(the DAW I want to work with) and Bome twice from the link above, and still nothing. I even used a 3rd party uninstaller so I could get rid of the unwanted leftovers.

    Update

I Changed the USB port to a powered usb hub port then changed both the NI windows services

    NIHostIntegrationAgent and the NIHardwareAgent to-

“Automatic (Delayed Startup) “ and now in Device Manager the DAW device has started showing up again slowly so I can now select it in settings → controllers within BitWig
