Hi
I'm using the automation facility in Studio One for the drone on/off but it doesn't turn off if set to off at start of instrument playing. Any ideas please?

Hmmm...maybe you should play a little bit with the openings of the automation to find the unbroken one.
Similar to how people experimented with quick fade-in or fade-out for an audio track quality.
I had a similar issue with my automation in Cakewalk in general and it worked.
Hope it solves the issue somehow.
