Attempting to create a color template for my keyboard, and now it seems from posts in this forum that's not possible. How is it not possible? It was available with previous versions of NI. I had the MK2 88 and an older Komplete Kontrol version.

If it wasn't for the feel of the keys, I'd almost be tempted to return the keyboard based on something like this.

Lots of things were available / possible in previous versions that they have either stripped out or failed to even implement in the new version. Maybe it will get better but I always have a rule to only ever get into a product for what it does today, especially given the track record for NI actually improving what they make is, well, here we are at v3 and it is miles behind v2 so progress is apparently putting the bus in reverse...

Call is yours, but I would say based on the overwhelming feedback so far, they have bigger fish in the pan to fry at the moment.

That's pretty annoying. Sounds like the developers are strapped. Any direct feedback from NI on if/when this will be available?

I think it is more a case of building a new version of software from the ground up and kind of resetting the development and stability of the last 10 years back to zero, they just had to ditch a heap of useful functionality for the initial launch and I suspect and hope they have a good crew of very productive programmers because they have a hell of a lot of work to get on with.

Just take a number and join the queue of users now waiting for things to improve and their old functional features to reappear again.
