Combining libraries from Kontakt 6 and 7

I just installed portions of Komplete 14 Collector's Edition on a Windows-based machine. As of now, I have Kontakt 6 and 7 installed. First off, I am noticing that Kontakt 7 doesn't have a search box to simply type the name of the instrument you wish to load. It seems like you have to expand a categorized instrument list within a library to find the instrument you wish to load. Is this correct? I liked the ease of the input box at the top to simply spell the name of the instrument.

Secondly, I now have instruments spread across several libraries, such as Kontakt Factory Select, Kontakt Factory Library and Kontakt Factory Library 2. Is there any way to combine these three libraries into a single library?

Lastly, once I have the libraries situated, is there any reason to keep Kontakt 6 installed? If I am working on someone else's Pro Tools session, the same rule applies like all aspects of a session such that both individuals must have the same plugins in order for all aspects of the session to be available.

    Hello,

    first:

second: you don´t need all the stuff with select or selection in the name, you have the full versions so there is no need for it to waste space. With kontakt library 1 vs. 2, it´s a bit a matter of taste, they are not the same, you can easily have a look into both and then you know if you need both or just the KFL2 - i would recommend if you haven´t used it already and now need the sounds for existing projects.
