All my Kontakt Instruments are going out of tune

I've seen this same issue pop up in a few other forums but thought I'd try my luck here. I'm using an older M-Audio Axiom 49 controller, but in Pro Tools AND Ableton I'm seeing weird issues with any NI plugin playing back de-tuning and pitching without pitch bend automation being recorded. This makes working on anything near impossible. Is there any way this can be fixed?

From an on-line troubleshooting session :

But it is hard to troubleshoot like this, you should provide some more info. For instance I'd like to see the Event list for the region(s) that is (are) out of tune, I'd also like to see what happens if you filter out certain MIDI messages (pitchbend, mainly), in File>Project Settings>MIDI>Input Filter.

But, since I don't know what brand and type MIDIcontroller you have I have no way of knowing what kind of other tuning or detuning messages the thing is or can or may be sending.
