set Irish harp articulation without holding down key switches?

Hello, the harmonic articulation is quite pretty and I would love to play it with two hands. Problem is, I have to hold down the harmonic keyswitch. Is there a way to just set it to harmonic and play? I know I can draw a midi note for that key switch but that just seems absurd.

Hello,

per default all key switches in the Irish Harp (as with all instruments in the Spotlight Collection) are momentarily, i.e. not static.

The only work around I can think of is writing a multiscript in KSP that accompanies every played note with a specified MIDI note.

An additional functionality for the enabling static key switches is currently not planned, but I'll add it to the list. It would however interfere with the internal phrase playback, i.e. it's not that easy to implement.

Looking at the demo video it looks like this instrument can be edited, which means you could create a Keyswitch or use Nicki's script called "Midi Latch", to activate the Keyswitch.

You could also put a couple of 9 volt batteries on the key that triggers the switch. 😀
