Remove Tags (Types/Characters/Properties) in Komplete Kontrol

in Komplete Kontrol

Hey,

I see the option to add own Tags within this categories with the + but I don´t see the the option to delete tags

    You need to use the tag to find all NKS with that tag, then select them all at once and in edit uncheck the tag. As long as it is not a factory tag it should no longer appear as long as you got them all

    No problem. Just for your info I also wondered at first why there is an add but not a delete button in the edit menu for tags as it does lead to clutter, but then I realised. Apart from factory tags, user tags are in the NKS patches not Komplete Kontrol itself. That ensures tags can be exported along with the NKS patch whenever someone shares a patch and also acts as a sort of failsafe to prevent people removing a tag that then deletes it from all their presets too. However I do wish people would be more careful when tagging stuff and use what is there first before adding their own so we don't get so many variations on the same thing (eg 'pad', pads', 'synth pads' etc) - it drives me nuts
