Battery 4 is taking 4 or 5 minutes to load the gui

Studio One 5

my entire daw freezes when I open up Battery. I think it happens with all daws, sorry I am incredibly frustrated right now, it's such a disruption to my flow, to the point where I don't even want to use Battery, which sucks, because it's such an amazing tool.

can somebody please help me troublshoot?

my entire library is on an SSD, I have no idea why this happens. Also Massive X takes a long time to load too...

    If you're on windows, try going here:

    C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Battery 4\

    Make a copy of Komplete.db3, and then delete it. Try reloading, because it sounds like it's trying to load your database of factory and user sounds and taking too long. Load up in standalone mode first, NOT your DAW.

    If this doesn't work, simply replace the file. If it does, then you'll need ot accept the newly rebuilt database file.
