Unable to use my libraries.

So I haven't used Kontakt for a while and now I find out that a rework is out that isn't free. But the libraries I have on my account have all upgraded to support Kontakt 7 and Kontakt 6 is too old to support them.

So let me get this straight - Native Image are now holding all my libraries hostage until I pay up a hundred bucks? Or is there a way to downgrade the libraries back to their Kontakt 6 versions? Or did I just download a free library that had been added after 7 was made and is now just an annoying psychological ploy for me to buy 7?

All old libraries should still work fine.

@SmileyTheSmile No one is taking you hostage. It's most probably a little glitch. Our libraries only require the free Kontakt player, for any version of Kontakt. I suspect the problem is elsewhere. There is an ongoing issue with Native Access, here is the thread, with the fix: Only Kontakt 7 Player / Reaktor 6 Player shows up in Native Access

Similar problem here. I have Komplete 13 Standard with Kontakt 6. Out of curiosity I installed Kontakt 7 Player with free library Hypha when it came out.

In the meantime, Native Access proposes to update many libraries. I did update Analog Dreams, just to notice afterwards that it requires Kontakt 7. Release Notes of the other libraries which want to be updated require Kontakt 7, too.

In effect, after updating the library, it cannot be used anymore in Kontakt 6. Existing projects with Kontakt 6 instances using the library don't work anymore.

Uninstalling Kontakt 7 Player and reinstalling Analog Dreams library did not help.

I understand why @SmileyTheSmile is upset. I'm too, if libraries cannot be installed for the purchased version of Kontakt.
