Half damper pedaling not working with native instruments pianos

Hi, I am using a Roland EV-5 expression pedal, and a Roland DP-10 damper sustain pedal with my Komplete Kontrol S61 mk2 ...half damper works just fine with Arturia Piano V2 inside Komplete Kontrol software, so why will it not work with The Grandeur and all other Native Instruments pianos?

Thanks

Regards, Mark

Half damper for The Grandeur sorted! ...I had to make some adjustments in The Grandeur itself... I turned 'HLF PEDAL' on, and turned 'RESO VOL' all the way down, and I adjusted the 'To' Range in the midi 'PEDALS' section of Komplete Kontrol ...for desired affect.

    Greetings Mark42!

The half damper pedal might not work with Native Instruments pianos in Komplete Kontrol due to pedal compatibility, configuration, software updates, MIDI mapping, or pedal calibration issues. Ensure pedal compatibility, check settings, update software, and calibrate pedals. If the problem persists, consider manual MIDI mapping.

    Greetings iDAC

Thank you for your reply and information provided ...very much appreciated. In regard to compatibility... other users have stated that both the Roland DP-10 and EV-5 are compatible with Native Instruments pianos. In regard to midi mapping... I haven't done any custom mapping or altered any settings, I saw a post for a possible fix relating to 'midi learn settings in Komplete Kontrol' ...there are instructions to disconnect the Komplete Kontrol S61 and then access the midi learn area ...I can then access the midi learn area but all the knobs are greyed out... so I am unable to change anything. I am using Komplete 13 software... I have updated Komplete Kontrol to it's current version 2.9.4 and updated all sofware. As already stated... half damping with Arturia Piano V2 in Kontrol Kontrol is working fine ...It's so frustrating not having it work with Native Instruments pianos.

    Thank you Monochrome

But... yes I am already aware of that link... I have already set everything as it should be according to the information provided in that link, and as stated... I have half damping/pedaling already working with Arturia Piano V2 in Komplete Kontrol software.

    Cheers

Compatibility of sustain damper pedals is actually not a factor here, because I've just done an experiment... I assigned CC64 to the Touchstrip ...then in the 'range' section I adjusted the 'To' knob to about the 1 O'clock position, I then slid the Touchstrip to full and achieve half damping with Arturia Piano V2 in Komplete Kontrol software, but if I load a native instruments piano and do the same/slide the Touchstrip to full... I get full sustain instead of half damping. I've purchased these great sounding pianos and I'm unable to use them in the way I want to use them, and lots of other users are experiencing the same issue, I'm at a dead stop.
