My power button is pushed in the Komplete Kontrol S88 MK2 Smart Keyboard Control and won't come out

Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me on this forum, but I dropped my keyboard on the carpet in my bedroom and somehow the power button got stuck and just stays on. IDK if anyone can help with what I can do to fix it.

    Prob need to open it up to fix it by taking the bottom off. Depending how it is stuck in it may be able to be persuaded to pop out with a small screwdriver but likely it has to be taken out from the inside and resat.

    keep in mind. opening your keyboard, cancels your warranty. If you have one...

    After speaking with them they mentioned it was outta warranty and all it covers is defective parts. Sending it out to the repair people is going to be an arm and a leg with shipping, repairs and if they have to get any other parts. I feel at this point it’s better off getting a new keyboard unfortunately.

    If its outta warranty and you feel you should get a new keyboard, why not oenit up anyway and see what you can do. You may teach yourself a new skill.

    I caved in and opened it and found out one of the screws was messed up, causing the I/O board to move down a bit. I found a similar size screw I had and it works 👍. Everything else seems to be running fine as well but I'll update and see how it goes.
