GR 6.4 released with new ICM component

Strange - no announcement (or .. maybe not so strange ..)

GR 6.4 was released earlier this week.

At long last a new ICM Component - brand new Amp - 'Fire Seeker'.

Now, at first I was a little sceptical as it really does appear like a worked over reboot of the existing 'Fire Breather' model.

Certainly shares a lot of the aesthetic.

But, delighted to report that it sounds - and reacts - quite differently.

I really like it so far.

I took my license out of transfer just to try it, and it may have saved the day.

I'd love to get a better idea of what amp it is based on. Not that it really matters, but .. well OK, it kinda does.. ;)

Perhaps the admins will get round to posting an announcement. Sometime. ;)

I am happy to see that they are putting out new ICM amps, but honestly I would have liked see a new one that wasn't quite so similar to one of the existing ICM amps.

Indeed a new ICM component... fine by me, but how loud do we need to scream to bring back the missing GR5 features. We are told our feedback is send over to product management, but I think these mails are stuck in the junk folder.

The update is not offered / shown to me via Native Access.

Where did you find it? 

Found it. I have to make an update to the last version of Native Access.

An email went out to all GR owners yesterday about the update. 😌 And we updated our official status here.

Rumor has it that Fire Seeker is based on Friedman Pink Taco....
